Changes

I sold my Phelsuma madagascriensis! All of them! I had them for so many years, but I no longer could accept their behaviour. Phelsuma madagascariensis are an aggressive species-not towards people, but towards other specimens of this species. My adult phelsumas had a fight from time to time (nothing serious) and there were never any problems with the babies. But they totally went crazy! They started to bite each other very hard. Phelsumas' skin is very delicate, prone to injuries. A  single bite tears the beautiful green epidermis off and uncovers the pink skin. It heals for months. Mine had 5-8 such cuts. Moreover, the small ones waiting for a new owner, started to bite each other's tails off :( I had to sell the babies ASAP and separate the adults. Because I don't have conditions to provide every one of them with separate tanks, I decided to sell all of them. It's a pity, I liked them pretty much :( But I was consoled the same day I gave them away, when I got 3 Phelsuma klemmeri instead of them :) The is the only phelsuma species that's non-aggressive. They are beautiful and get along well. They're much smaller than Ph. madagascariensis so they are staying in the babies' tank. At the moment, the big terrarium is empty. But I have a felling that it's going to change soon ;)
Sprzedałam felsumy madagaskarskie! Wszystkie! Hodowałam je tyle lat, a mimo to już nie wytrzymałam ich zachowań. Felsumy madagaskarskie to agresywny gatunek-nie wobec człowieka, ale wobec innych przedstawicieli swojego gatunku. Moje dorosłe felsumki od czasu do czasu się kłóciły, z maluszkami natomiast nigdy nie miałam kłopotu. W ostatnim czasie zupełnie im odbiło! Zaczęły bardzo dotkliwie się gryźć. Felsumy mają bardzo delikatną, podatną na zranienia skórę. Takie pojedyńcze ugryzienie zrywa piękny zielony naskórek i odsłania różową skórę. Goi się to miesiącami. Moje doprowadziły się do takiego stanu, że miały po 5-8 takich ran. Na dodatek młodym czekającym na nowego właściciela też coś się stało i zaczęły sobie odgryzać ogonki :( Musiałam jak najszybciej sprzedać maluchy i rozdzielić dorosłe. Ponieważ nie mam warunków, żeby każda jaszczurka miała oddzielne terrarium, postanowiłam je wszystkie sprzedać. Przykra sprawa, bardzo je lubiłam :( Ale pocieszenie przyszło jeszcze tego samego dnia, co je oddałam. W zamian dostałam 3 felsumy klemmeri :) To jedyny nieagresywny gatunek felsum. Są śliczne i faktycznie bardzo dobrze się dogadują. Są o wiele mniejsze niż madagaskarskie, więc mieszkają w terrarium młodych felsumek. Obecnie duże terrarium tropikalne stoi puste. Coś czuję, że niedługo to się zmieni :)
